"Pinglish" or "Urdish"

I read this blog on Pakistaniat and I want to share it with you people. I am putting some of the excerpts from their. And also to the BBC’s article on this topic, 'Pakistan and the battle for English'.

We live in a country, whose national language is Urdu, yet our rulers have always preferred English. English is still considered to be a superior language. Why is that? Urdu has all the ingredients to become the language of science and government. Our Urdu is now becoming a mixture of English, Urdu and Punjabi. I think it is the birth of a new language. It wouldn't be strange if our coming generation start speaking ‘Urdu version 2’.

واہ کیا جود وکرم ہے شہ بطحا تیرا

نہیں سنتا ہی نہیں مانگنے والا تیرا

میں تو مالک ہی کہوں گا کہ ہو مالک کے حبیب

یعنی محبوب و محب میں نہیں میرا تیرا

تیرے قدموں میں جو ہیں غیر کا منہ کیا دیکھیں

کون نظروں پہ چڑھے دیکھ کے تلوا تیرا

تیرے ٹکڑوں پہ پلے غیر کی ٹھوکر پہ نہ ڈال

جھڑکیاں کھائیں کہاں چھوڑ کہ صدقہ تیرا

ایک میں کیا میرے عصیاں کی حقیقت کیسی

مجھ سے سو لاکھ کو کافی ہے اشارہ تیرا

فرش والے تیری شوکت کا علو کیا دیکھیں

خسروا عرش پہ اڑتا ہے پھریرا تیرا
